Default Draw Royal (Low Content)

I just want to brag about my first ever royal flush in 5 card draw-and 5th royal overall in a proper poker game w/o wildcards. I've had royals in holdem, omaha/8, and stud/8 before, but never in draw.

This occured in the €10/rebuy PL draw tournament today at 24hPoker. My limp in first position is questionable and not something I normally do, but I'm a sucker for the open-ended straight flush draw.

Too bad I didn't get paid off. I actually did fight a short stack for most of this tourney after this point and finished 6th/71.

Game # xxxxxxxx - 5-Card Draw Pot Limit 100/200

Players:
A (3900 in seat 1)
Tom_Bayes (4750 in seat 2)
B (3025 in seat 3)
C (3084 in seat 4)
D (2780 in seat 5)
E (5361 in seat 6)

Dealer: D
Small Blind: E (100)
Big Blind: A (200)

Tom_Bayes was dealt: 2h - Qs - Ts - Js - Ks

Tom_Bayes Call (200)
B Fold
C Fold
D Fold
E Fold
A Check

A changed 3 cards
Tom_Bayes changed 1 card: As - Qs - Ts - Js - Ks from (2h) - Qs - Ts - Js - Ks

A Check
Tom_Bayes Bet (200)
A Fold
Tom_Bayes Payback (200)

Tom_Bayes didn't show hand

Tom_Bayes wins: 500

nice.. I have yet to get a royal in draw, although I've gotten a couple str-flushes.. first one I got was kind of funny, I didn't even know I had it! I raise-openned as a steal with the str-flush draw and got a caller. Noticed that I got a 5th heart so bet when checked to me.. I got check-raised! We capped it.. I put my opponent on trips and thought I was on two pair.. it wasn't until I saw in the dealer chat that everyone was saying "nice" and "wow" that I scrolled back and it stated _straight_ flush.. lol.

Still waiting for the royal tho.. u got me there

I've been "lucky" I guess. I've been playing draw as my main game for the last 6 months or so. I've had two so far, both at Paradise in the 1/2 game. First one I cat hopped from the big blind and hit the perfect two cards. The second was about two weeks ago and was dealt it pat again in the big blind. What was really cool was it came TJQKA of spades in that order! I made a whopping .50 when everyone folded to my big blind.

Still very fun to hit. Congrats on your first one.

I'm not one to show hands, but I figure if I show every straight flush I get in any game (except 1 card straight flushes) I will be leaking next to no information. (Usually though I go to unclick "muck uncalled" but the change won't take effect until the next hand .)

This is exactly what happened. By the time I thought to uncheck the auto-muck box, the other player had quickly folded and the next hand was being dealt.
