Is it that weak to release your hand to a turn bet?

weak?
no, just stupid.

So you're saying your drawing to 10 outs, all of which you feel are clean, getting 7.5:1 if there's a bet and no other calls other than OP?

I feel like missed AK is the hand I least know what to do with.

I always bet against 2 opponents. I nearly always check against 4 unless I have backdoor outs. 3 is the number that perplexes me.

I checked the flop partially because I saw the button loading up chips. I've seen him do this before without apparent deception.

My plan at that point, is since the flop will be bet anyways, is to just check/call and re-evaluate on the turn. I don't think it's worth leading into a raise to protect a hand I'll usually fold on the turn anyhow.
