Default Some tuff question hands

rebuy on party.
about 5.5k for first

Rebuy has just ended a bit ago.
Table has been fairly limp happy/passive. Hence i felt i could get away with the limp.

UTG+2 checks, Hero checks, CO bets t1400, UTG+2 folds, Hero ???

CO is same guy from last hand, and has gotten very lucky in a few other spots. He just lost a pot where he minbet A2o every street, only to lose to A6o.
I have hardly any respect for this guy. However, he DID cold call 1k.

UTG+2 is fairly tricky good player, he has limped AK, AQ, AJ, multiple times, and checkraised people about half those times. He is limp/check big hand type. This is who I am worried about.

What is heros move after this person folds?

Default Re: Some tuff question hands

hand 1: bet more on the flop, 1/3 of the pot on the flop looks pretty weak and while you likely have the best hand TPGK is not really a slow play induce action kind of hand...i'd shoot out around a thousand. Likewise his turn bet looks weak, so i'd raise then (if you get reraised i think you can safely feel good about getting away from it). The river check is good though.

2nd hand: he made a bad call pf with AQ or KQs and now has top pair, i probably lay this down because one of my cards might not be live. this is probably too narrow of a range to put him on, but is my initial instinct. I'd be tempted to overbet my AK pf all-in looking like a steal attempt and if the table is as bad as you say you might bring AQ along for the ride pf...but if utg+2 is tricky, then i guess that is out. all in all i guess i wait for a better spot.

3rd hand: i don't really know the right way to react to massive overbets...i think it is probably right to fold this, but pushing is so tempting.

Hand #1: I think I raise the weak turn bet and see how it develops.

Hand #2: I would lead out 1/2 - 2/3 continuation bet on this flop with my over cards and gut shot straight. Given your play I think you can call here and lead out any card on the turn. The 1/3 bet was just a probe looking to take down the pot I think.

Hand #3: I think its a push. See how MP3 reacts. SB will most like fold his mid PP.
