Correct me if i am wrong, but raising with a flush draw against 5 opponents isnt raising for a free card. Arent we raising for value there because we expect to make our flush 35% of the time agains 5 other players (givign us a HUGE equity edge)?
Also the assumption is by raising the passive players will check to us and we are saving a small bet or so to see our hand all the way through. Again this is assuming the players are very predictable. |

I'm referring to the turn (after they called your flop raise). Then we are a bit worse than 4:1, so jamming the pot is slightly -EV even if all players stay in, which often they won't, and assuming no one else has any cards of your suit, which they often do.
