August Goals Post...

1. Play 15k hands
2. Make $3000
3. Stay away from OOT. That will solve lots of problems.

2) Remember how to fold postflop
3) Steal more
4) Study the hell out of blind defense
5) Not lose when I have quads, unless I'm at a BBJ table
6) Not lose when I have a straight flush, unless I'm at a BBJ table
7) Actually hit when I have a 15-outer, for crying out loud

At least 40k hands at 10/20 or higher. All the associated cash money that will bring in is beside the point.

My last and biggest race of the season is Aug 28. So next month will be my big month. This month number poker goal is just to "GET BETTER AT POKER"

I pretty much only got one of these done this month, and that was #1, which was also one of the lowest priority items. I guess playing more hands means more experience which means better poker, but I don't think I'm playing all THAT much better.

I was very ready to move up to 5/10 at the end of last week, and then I hit a nice downswing that not only ate up some roll, but convinced me that I wouldn't be ready for the heightened stakes psychologically.
