Default Late in a sit n go - short to medium stacked

Late in a sit and go, your short or medium stacked. You are delt 55 - 88. Do you push?

Ive pushed with this snerio in the last 5 sit n go's ive played, and been called with two over cards, and they have won each time.

The odds should be about 50/50, but it seems like, and ive played 100's of sit and go'o, that 90% of the time the over cards win.

Theoretically with such a large sample size it should be more 50/50, and I just got burned 5 times in a row by this, so I am not really sure whats up. Should I fold a poket pair late when the blinds are almost 1/4 to 1/2 my stack, or should I always push.

if the blinds are 1/4 to 1/2 your stack always push. i'm pushing almost any two in late position with those blinds

Well I play turbos so the blinds get to 400 and 600 very fast. Usually if Im short stacked I have under 2000 chips.

But the reason I say this is because its near the bubble, which makes me want to play more tight.

i) That's wrong, you loosen up on bubble.
ii) A few hundred is not a large sample size, a few thousand is.
iii) You're getting varianced, just keep pushing those.
iv) Of course there are always spots where they are folds, but generally push.

Congratulations, you've gotten all-in 5 SNGs in a row as a favorite. Try to keep doing this.
