Re: Can You make money playing online blackjack?
[ QUOTE ]
Why would anyone play to have a .1% edge? [/ QUOTE ] Just because it's "only" .1% doesn't mean you can't expect much long term profit. It all depends on the size of your bankroll. In poker, just because you have a $100K roll doesn't mean you can jump into a $500-$1000 game and expect to make money. Poker depends on your skill. But if you're playing BJ with a $100K roll and a .11% advantage, you can make $200 bets. That's 22 cents per hand in EV. You can play hundreds of hands per hour. Do the math. |

Re: Can You make money playing online blackjack?
You would need a very large bankroll to make $50 bets at a game with an edge of -.10%, however online blackjack can be beat by taking advantage of bonuses, www.caniwin.com lists some good sites that teach you how, if you put $100 into starluck you get a $100 bonus after wagering $1600, if you make $1 bets (bout 4 hours of "work"), you will have an average profit of $92, and the chances of ending below $100 is 1.5%, so a small chance of not profiting.

Re: Can You make money playing online blackjack?
I'm pretty sure the OP was talking about games with a player edge and not bonus whoring.
