Default My brilliant idea!

Instead of playing the 33 sng, I'll play the 25 NL live game. If I win 30 I move up to the 50 buyin nl live game. If I win 50 there I move up to the 100 NL buyin live game. And so on. People will think I'm playing live games but in reality I'm playing a tournament with 25 buyin. When I win at a lower level I move up and so on. But how do I determine when I should end my tournament though? Obviously I would have to cash in at some point in time, correct? But when? My guess is that I should end my secret tournament when I've won an amount that is equivalent to the first place pay off of the 33 single table sng. Around 150 or so. Once this happens I move back to the 25s all over again.

How come no one has ever thought of this brilliant scheme until I came up with it today?

What happens when people find out that you're playing a secret tournament? (And you know they will - they'll be pissed as hell too)

Also, you should stop when you make 2000 on the 2000NL, then reset.

Ummmm.... bad idea!

What do people do in tournaments most of the time? They go BUST!!!!!!

Stick with the buy in requirements from the FAQ of this forum, each time you go up money requirements you run into entirely different players with better skill(for the most part). Sit n go play is not the same as NL cash game play.

I don't think this is the optimal way to make money because there will come times as you move up when you'll have to play shortstacked, and it's very likely that you'll bust out. But it's a good idea to have fun. If I want a change of pace from my usual 4-table grinding, this would definitely be worth a try.
