I'm starting to like Dannenmann more and more. He seems like a very nice guy.

[/ QUOTE ]

Yeah, I was very put off by him in the early episodes but I'm starting to like the guy.

[/ QUOTE ]

I agree.

Mike doesn't get what he wants.

Hand 62 - Scott Lazar has the button in seat 8, Sheikhan moves all in for about $500,000, and Matusow thinks for a long time before he makes the call. Sheikhan shows Ad-Js, while Matusow has Ks-Qh. The flop comes Ac-10s-4d, and Sheikhan makes a pair of aces, while Matusow has a gut-shot straight draw. The turn card is the Qc, and Matusow can catch a jack or a queen to eliminate Sheikhan. The river card teases Matusow with paint, but it's the Kh, giving Matusow two pair, but it gives Sheikhan a runner-runner straight. Shawn Sheikhan doubles up to about $1 million in chips.

Sheikan is awfully bad at trash talking. Every time he says something Matusow throws another barb right back at him.

I guess after doulbing through Mike he gets to say something clever to really rub it in Matusow's face....here it comes...

"How do you like that sucker!".....oh.....

hmmm.....Matusow still leads the trash talk battle.

This is great entertainment though.

Mike gets what he wants.

Hand 78 - Steve Dannenmann has the button in seat 5, Matusow raises, Sheikhan moves all in, Lazar calls, and Matusow calls. The flop comes Kd-Jc-3c, and the flop is checked. The turn card is the 2c, Matusow bets, Lazar folds, and the hands are revealed. Matusow throws his arms in the air in triumph as he reveals Ac-Qc for the nut flush, and Sheikhan is drawing dead. (The meaningless river card is an ace.) Shawn Sheikhan is eliminated in 11th place, earning $600,000.

WTF was that shoving match at the beginning? Did I miss it during the episode?
