NYC club scene dead, or just quiet?
This is _not_ asking for posting of locations in this thread... I recognize why people would be reluctant to share them. I used to play in one place that is now not answering phone or email, and I have a business card for a second that also doesn't answer the phone.
If someone is interested in sending me a PM with a location, I won't complain, but really, I just am looking to see if it's all house games now, or if there are still places within Manhattan's borders to find a regular tournament scene. |

Was yours one of the two clubs that got busted recently by the NY Police?

Yes. The club I went to was the one mentioned in the newspapers that was uptown.

Re: NYC club scene dead, or just quiet?
I am still getting mailings from a club that recently moved and changed names. Although I haven't played there more than once, that's all I'll say.
No PMs please. -kyo |

You know how they say if you have to ask how much it is you can't afford it?
Well, if you don't know if a place exists then you probably aren't welcome there. It's only been 2 weeks. There's online.. There's AC.. There's home games to tide you over. Give it some time. this too shall pass. |
