Umm.. Mike Matusow has been a great, well-known, and well-respected professional poker player long before that "incident" at the WSOP last year.

He wears his emotions on his sleeve, and is bit of a class clown, but he's always been a great poker player and has very few (if any!) enemies in the poker world.

The table draw is kinda bad for Phil & Greg, and good for Mike and Minh.

But Greg has position on Phil (yay), though I wonder how many open raises Phil will be making from the CO

"Thanks for telling us about this. I just put 50 on Matusow to place higher than Ivey. Awesome. "

I'm not too familiar with sports-type betting, how much would you make in return if that does happen?

[/ QUOTE ]

Matusow is "+128" over Ivey. So, if I win, my $50 bet will get me $64. However, there may be some betting fee that I don't know about.

This is the first prop bet I've ever made. I Just opened a Pinnacle account after I read the post above and funded it out of my Neteller account. It took me about 15 minutes to figure out what the "risk" and "to win" radio buttons meant. If you click the "risk" button, you are "risking" your bet (I'm risking $50 to win $64). If you click the "to win" button, Pinnacle will figure your wager so that you "win" that amount if the bet goes in your favor.

I figure this isn't too bad of a bet since Matusow currently has the chip lead.

Edit: Also, Matusow is also at a better table than Ivey. Matusow has a $5M stack while the next biggest stack at his table is $3M. Ivey has $4.5M and there are 3 other players with $3M+ at his table.

GO 'MOUTH'!

I think Ivey might be a good spokesman for poker, kinda like Tiger Woods and golf, beating old, rich white men at their own game. lol

[/ QUOTE ]

That's racist!

Seeing how, except for the OP's chip counts and table draws, there's been nothing the least bit useful or entertaining posted in this thread, definitely start from scratch.

Default IVEY V RAYMER (3to1)

Should be interesting who runs this table. Two bullies one table, somethings gotta give. 1 more note. While yesterday 3-1 was prob a bad bet. It looks much better today.

That's a vast understatement. Probably? No, definitely. Bad? No, horrendous.

Actually, still looks terrible.

I mean, how could the chip leader, and a well-known professional, get +128 against ANYBODY?

[/ QUOTE ]

I could see this line. Matusow is a big-time tilter. The question here is whether Ivey will lose a huge chunk of his stack when he recklessly moves in with AQ before Matusow implodes. I'd put it at even money, so +128 seems somewhat favorable. I think that neither of these guys takes the whole enchilada. Raymer seems to be the most well adjusted of the three and less prone to tilt. I want to see Matusow get close and then lose it in his typical fashion. The aftermath will be pure hilarity--way better than Hellmuth crying on his mommy's shoulder.

Agreed yesterday. Strongly disagree today. Have you looked at the counts 6 people are basically dead considering blinds and antes at this point and Ivey is second in chips. No way it is bad today. I acutally think its about right today where yesterday should have been 12-1.....
