I didn't know how to search for this, but what does CO mean?

I've noticed some posters referring to it as "hijack" as well.

The "hijack" seat is actually one to the right of the CO, two to the right of the button. The idea being that you can hijack the CO's ability to steal the button or the blinds by raising from that seat.

Thanks for the information. Bob Ciaffone was the one who originated the phrase "cutoff seat." Does anyone know who coined the poker term "hijack"? TIA
