Default Trying to overcome downswings....

I've had a major downswings. In trying to overcome them I erased all my stats and I'm acting like I'm starting over. So far its not working. I went from 27ROI down to 9ROI in a little over 600 sngs.

Then I erased all data and started up another set. Would you know it. I was out of the money on all of them with BB. So I started another set. And wouldn't you know it all 4 are 4ths. I know I can beat them, but I think mentally I cannot right now. I need to regroup and try something different.

Now I'm re-reading and re-reading articles and books, trying to find out what I'm doing wrong. I think that I may be too aggressive throughout the whole tournament. Starting at level 4+ I'm in push/fold mode(Correct?).

HH is missing but here is one...

All Villains are LAGs, so I thought that if I raised 300 their calling..

4 handed
Hero 900
Villian 2800
Villian-2 2000
Villian-3 1500

Blinds are 50/100 Villian 2 is BB

Hero is UTG with AJs
Hero is all in (900)
Villian Calls (800)

Villain has AQ

With < 10BB you might as well push because you will be pot committed and you don't want others (morons) to think they actually have folding equity.

Downswings happen. They suck. Trying to erase them from your stats will just inflate your ROI so that you are disappointed when you hit another bad run.

Pushing with AJs is automatic here and you know it. This time he had AQ most of the time the fold, some times you suck out on AQ and go on to win. Thats the nature of the beast.

After the 8 straight out of the money. I RE-RE-Deleted to start over.. I loaded up another and another and another. I took beats I didn't even know where possible like flopping aces up and losing on the river to a ROYAL FLUSH.

Now it is coming up something like 20 straight OOTMs(I don't want to even count), I know this is pathetic. Can anybody help me, be letting me watch them play the 22s or 33s.

You know you can do it! So, just do it! Bad beats happen! I just played 4 sets of 4 tables at the 55's and I found them really profitable today, but you think I can make any money? NOPE! It won't happen. My AK runs into KK, my 77 runs into QQ, my AQ gets cracked by A2, etc. Stuff happens and it will turn around soon for you, as long as you stay focused and try to play the best you can! So, just do it.
Oh by the way, the above were not the only beats I had today. On the bubble of a 30+3 MTT, villain pushed from early, and I called with JJ. He flipped over 10 10 and rivers the straight. THen, 5 minutes later, he was the chip leader. But, what can I do! Nothing! I did the right thing and have to move on! So, do the same! Move on and try to play the best you can!

Is it really wise to be erasing your stats every time you have a downswing?

I'm no poker guru, but when I hit a rough patch I find something to change--if anything just so it doesn't feel so much like a rut. Move down in stakes, play some penny limit omaha/8, or just get away from from poker for a few days. You've probably driven yourself to a "woe is me, the poker gods are angry" stage where you expect to lose. Do whatever you can to get that crap out of your system, then come back when you're in better spirits.
