Default AcQc in BB 5-10

Loose passive game (around 35% btf). I am in BB with A [img]/forums/images/icons/club.gif[/img] Q [img]/forums/images/icons/club.gif[/img] . Two EPs call, button calls, SB calls, I raise. Flop 10 [img]/forums/images/icons/spade.gif[/img] J [img]/forums/images/icons/club.gif[/img] 2 [img]/forums/images/icons/club.gif[/img] . I check 1st EP checks 2nd EP bets, call, call, I raise, 1st EP folds, rest call. Turn 10 [img]/forums/images/icons/diamond.gif[/img] . I bet all fold. What do you think?

On the flop, I would have bet out hoping to get raised so I could 3-bet. The way you played it is fine, though, I think. You just want to get lots of money in the pot on this flop.

Betting out on the turn is good.

you played it fine...

are you asking about the turn bet? you want to represent a bigger hand here if possible. your AQ may not be good enough at showdown if you miss your draw.

id take pots like this all day long if i could

good point about betting out.

but if you thought someone on your left would bet, itd be better to do the c/r. as he did....depends on the players and the read....but i agree, my default would be to just bet out.

I was looking for comments on the flop and turn (and preflop if anyone disagrees for some reason), I don't want to say anymore about what I was thinking until I get more comments.

I think your check raise on the flop won you the pot when you led out on the turn. You had many outs and played the hand accordingly.

I feel that the way the flop betting worked out, a checkraise was the best way to play the flop. I was hoping that one of the early players would bet and that is what happened. If one of the later players bet, I think I still would have checkraised. The CR represented an overpair to a lot of the players, and so I got in a lot of equity with a big draw (nut flush, nut gutshot) and had a disguised draw. If I make a draw I bet out on the turn and might get raised. As it was the ten paired and no one had one so I got the pot.
