TT a limper, how\'s my line?
Party Poker No-Limit Hold'em Tourney, Big Blind is t100 (4 handed) converter

He re-raised me but didn't put me in (and yes I started seeing AA and KK in my mind) so I went in all in myslef and he called. Does anybody do anything here but push back? Am I catching FPS? |

Re: TT a limper, how\'s my line?
Yeah, it's a push. You are shortstack, but you have almost 10xBB so you are hardly desparate. You don't need to get fancy to try to double up.

Re: TT a limper, how\'s my line?
After the limp by button, I don't mess around with a less-than-push raise. I push 100% of the time.

Re: TT a limper, how\'s my line?
I think it looks good. I'm not really sure whether a push preflop after the limper is good, i prefer your line, simply raising and hoping for a reraise.

Why? What hands do you think player will re-raise with that he won't call a push with? [/ QUOTE ] Yep. At the time I was hoping that my initial bet would seem fishy which, given what I held, it was. I typically play back at the limper here all-in with nearly anything playable and I knew I might have to do that later so I wanted to "save" a "premium" hand. Very specious reasoning. |

Re: TT a limper, how\'s my line?
The problem with raising is if he calls, he can still get away from the flop if he misses with overcards or an underpair.
