Default AA - i suxor

clearing the 20to120gift on party. 4-tabling 1/2 so i'm not really getting as much info as i usually do.

SB is 50/0/~0.2 after like 20 hands so i have no idea about him really.

UTG is 50/9/~3 after about 40 hands. i've seen him be a bit overaggressive with tptk against a passive player. capped the flop and raised the turn and called down after a 3-bet with AK on K8773, other dude had 87.

nope. when i said "ok, i'm calling down" i meant that when sb kept leading, i would call down.

had sb checked the turn and utg bet it, i would have raised.

Raising the turn after the check/3-bet on the flop is no good. It sure looks like Jx or QQ when he wusses out on the river though, so I like the river raise. And if he pulls off a check/3-bet again, congratulations to him.

the river action:

River: (15.50 BB) 3[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] <font color="#0000FF">(3 players)</font>
SB checks, <font color="#CC3333">UTG bets</font>, <font color="#CC3333">Hero raises</font>, <font color="#CC3333">SB 3-bets</font>, UTG calls, Hero folds.

good?

Why not just call? I'm not saying it's right, I'm just curious.

nah, given the action i think a fold is acceptabool here. Maybe J3o/63s/66 for the flop 2 pair/set ch/3b. I don't think SB would do this with QQ/KK...

Wow. I've tried to write like 3 replies to this hand.

I like the raise, and I say if SB is crazy enough to check-3bet twice in one hand, he might be crazy enough to do it with J6 3-pair or when his AJ "improves" to 2-pair. I can't say with enough certainty in this huge pot that he wouldn't. He's an unknown. I'm not afraid of overcalling the guy in the middle, since I'm beating him the vast majority of the time. I'd probably pay off and regret it later.

You'd regret folding a winner 23 times as much. The more I think about this hand, the more I think folding is really bad.
