Default PARTY 10/20 NL. TOP SET VS BBUDDY.

im four tabling the 10/20 on party a month ago maybe, bbuddy is on three of my tables... he is losing alot and is really on full blown LAG mode playing every hand. he knows im winning, and i know hes losing... he just lost a pot in a set over set sit. against a weak/passive unimaginative party nit, so im thinking he is PISSED. ok.
i have JJ UTG and raise to 70 (this standard for me and means very little)... mrbuddy calls on the button (fresh 2K), everyone else folds.
flop comes J63r (pot 170)
i bet 125, he calls.
turn comes an A and everything is rainbowed. (pot 420)
i check, he bets 180, i call.
river comes an 8. (pot 780)
i check... (obviously i am moving in if he puts another penny into this pot.)
what do you guys think?
ill try to post some more hands if ppl think these are interesting... there have been a bunch of good hands piosted recently and that inspired me to contribute... also i am no longer using the account these hands were played on, so i am much more comfortable posting.

He used to be pretty notorious for tilting and going nuts in subsequent hands, but I hear he's stopped doing this. He also seems pretty controlled in this spot. I think I try and get money in.

I'd probably bet the turn and hope he raises you. I don't mind how you played it. River check v him is obvious.

I would bet more on the turn. If hes gonna call 180, he'll probably call 250-300. This also makes it easier to get more money in on the river.

The river check depends on the player. Has he been bluffing a lot of rivers?

it was a valid question, guess you're in a bad mood. you tell us buddy's gone crazy monkey LAG and someone wants to know if that applies to river bluffs. i'm guessing your non-answer means you think it does. it probably also means you didn't read the post you shot down

no, slickpoppa didn't read the post. bbuddy likes to bluff rivers yes, likely for the size of the pot.

i think it looks good. if he has nothing at all let him bluff as many chips off as possible. if he's got even a marginal hand i'd think that he would probably value bet the river maybe trying to disguise it as a tiltish bet.

If B Buddy changed his party sn and you didn't know about it, would you still be able to identify him as a winning player?
