ANyone else dislike phones? No flaming please

i hate phones with a passion. i've refused to own a cell phone for years because i hate them, and they just seem to make everything more hurried. only form of communication i hate more is instant messaging.

I hate phones, but I do carry a cell phone.

I just don't give anyone the number. (Well, I think about three people have the number, and all three of those people know how I scream in rage when the phone rings.)

I keep it for when I need to call about something - usually business related. I don't think I've ever come close to using up my "minutes" allowance.

Mostly, it's a convenience for me - not everyone else.

i hate human interaction. chatting through instant message is enough for me.

Phones are a very practical thing - and I like them for exactly that reason. If I don´t feel like answering I just don´t pick up that ringing thing...thats all about it, quite easy, no???
