Dell.com order status is not updating..... anyone experience this?

See, it was suppose to ship yesterday, yet clearly all that stuff isn't updated, so I'm wondering what the heck is going on.

I can't call them because I didn't order it using any of my information (its just being shipped to me).

So basically, has anyone ordered something, not seen this page updated, and then had their stuff arive on time?

Or, has anyone had their stuff significantly delayed?

most of the time when i get dell stuff in the online status doesn't reflect that it has shipped yet, but it does say when it's in production/etc. "this information is current as of wed mar 30th" makes it clear the page was at least updated.

I ordered mine on the 26th and it's already in "boxing" stage in production, updated yesterday and today. It's a Dell superlaptop, i mean 9300.

However, I ordered mine on the 26th and my estimated ship date is April 11. When I went to order on on the 25th, the ship date was March 31. This makes me think they ran out of parts or underestimated the popularity of the 9300, so even though mine says it's almost done, who knows when i will get it.

I would call them to make sure though, but it could just be delayed due to a certain part not being available.

I thought so too..but I changed my order over the phone 3 minutes after I placed over the net. My laptop went back to pre-production this morning. (guess they missed those changes)

I ordered a 2001FP on Sunday. It has been shipped and is expected to arrive today. No problems updating for a simple monitor purchase.

I know this question was to astro, but yeah in all fairness to dell I did get a completely customized system compared to whatever the standard computer you would get if you didn't upgrade.
