I'm pulling for Ivey too but frankly I'm gonna be a little pissed if he wins the 7.5 mil and then stands there like a statue.

[/ QUOTE ]

No way. That's what is so great about him.

[/ QUOTE ]

incorrect...

how awesome would it be to see phil ivey just go "YYYYYYYYYYYEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHH HHHH" and just start jumping up and down?

if he just shakes the 2nd players hand and smiles, i'll be very dissappointed

this is the WSOP, 7.5 million. 5600 players. when you win, you can get happy for 5 seconds, it makes for good tv

[/ QUOTE ]

No, it makes for boring TV. Pretty much anyone who wins anything gets excited, yells and smiles. For Ivey to win, show no expression whatsoever, then ask to use the bathroom while being interviewed by Norman Chad would kick ass.

actually i'm taking this whole statement back, but not editing it...

remember when robert horry made that 3 when he was on the lakers (i think it was 2002)? he just stood there stoned faced while the other players jumped all over him.

how [censored] pimp was that?!?!

phil ivey, just stand there, and pretend like it was nothing, like it's part of the job.

That's what I'm talking about.

The only difference is I think Horry does that to look like a thug, whereas Ivey is just being himself.

Wow, you really have no idea what you're talking about. We have two championships here in Houston that we wouldn't have had without Horry.
