Default Re: ULTIMATE POKER CHALLENGE FINAL DAY REPORT by BLAIR RODMAN

Fantastic report Blair!

[ QUOTE ]
Modern tournaments are being driven by the legions of anonymous players who play them because they enjoy the scene and the challenge. Unless something happens where someone else starts putting up the prize pools, these players are vital to the future of poker. Making it as fun an experience as possible for them should be a priority for all pros or would-be pros. The players with the hats and sunglasses who never say a kind word are no good for poker.

The last part of this paragraph is the only thing I would disagree on.

Some people are very nervous playing live B&M poker after being stuck behind a computer screen 24/7. I don't see any difference between a talkative player and a non-talkative player to a pro, except that the latter may give off fewer 'tells' to you pro's, thus minimising your +EV! Excellent report - loved the play with 66 v JJ.
