Re: My PT stats at 40k hands. Opinions please.
[ QUOTE ]
This post is good because it shows that Ed Miller's strategy does win. It's also good because it shows that it's only good for beginner's, and buying in full and learning the full spectrum of the game is a lot more profitable. After 50k hands, you should try to expand your game. [/ QUOTE ] For the record, I claimed only: 1. The strategy is a winner 2. It's good for building confidence and getting feet wet. I agree that with 40k hands in the bank and the confidence of being a winner, you should start trying to play deeper stacks to advance to the next level. |

Re: My PT stats at 40k hands. Opinions please.
I've been buying in 20x BB.
The idea is to work on my preflop and flop. By only having 2 streets I can concentrate on only these two areas. |

well, i think you have actually mastered the art of 20bb buyin nl. you are winning a little, which is the most you can hope for. if you don't wanna buy in full, just move it up to 40bb instead, and get used to that. you can probably play the same exact hands the same way you do now, but the pot will be bigger when you push on the flop/turn. gl

I cannot stand it anymore . . .
I assume BB/100 = big bets per 100 hands. (Or is it big BLINDS per 100 hands ?)
What does ptbb/100 refer to ? |

[ QUOTE ] What does ptbb/100 refer to ? [/ QUOTE ] This is also a question I would like to know. [/ QUOTE ] ptbb = 2x the big blind in a no limit game. (The equivalent of a Big Bet in limit game, which is also 2x the big blind). |
