Dont raise 3rd, in fact you are not giving anything up by folding here - try for a free card on 4th but be willing to call a bet. Fold 5th- you are drawing to a hand that may not even be good if you make it and only have 3 outs to hit your gut buster.

On 6th I think you have to call down, but can fold if it gets 3-bet. This is a hand where seemingly small mistakes early on are going to cost you many bets on the later streets.

Yea, because A) it can be raised again and B) it's pretty clear one pair is no good here. So you're getting 4.5-1 to draw to 4 outs. Also, I just call on 3rd...no value to raising, particularly in a low limit game since you are just fattening the pot and giving people better odds to draw against you if you catch a pair. But the crucial street is 5th...you have an easy fold.

I can see an argument for raising 3rd, but I think calling is preferred. 5th is an easy fold, one or both of your opponents has you beat and you're only real hope is spking the queen. That you did spike on 6th, I'd call. Ma and Pa are looking like straights or two pair, either way the odds they beat you is small. Le could have hit a flush in which you're drawing dead. Call it down unless it gets jammed.

Yes - you only have 3 outs to your straight draw and if you hit there is a decent chance someone else will draw out on you given the semi-scary boards you are against. I need to re-read Theory of Poker but this could be one of those "reverse implied odds" situations.

Default Re: Hello! --Beta,Jeff,Djr--I\'m a big fat DOG on 5th....

and STILL made the call!
Once I connected with the broadway, calling the first bet would have been ok. However, since LE came over the top,it was a clear FOLD. I read him for at least a flush.
Hence,I surrendered on 6th.
Of course,all of U were correct. I should have surrendered on 5th... U dog,BULL!
LE took it down with a J high flush.

Default U nailed it,Djr! LE hit his flush...

Hence, the reason for his re-raise. Therefore, since I read him for at least a flush,I surrended my broadway on 6th.
