Default Is good blackjack on its last legs?

I read an article about a player tracking device called "MindPlay" that is being marketed to casinos. It can scan what cards are played and the chips on the table. Then it figures out what advantage/disadvantage the player is playing at.

This means card counters can be easily found out and barred, shuffled up on, etc. It also means you can't take advantage of comps by playing basic strategy as talked about in the book Comp City. (The pit boss normally just estimates how good the players to be comped are and he can underestimate the player if the player just uses basic strategy. But with these new devices, they know just how much your losing rate is).
