Move up in level?
I've played 30K hands at 1/2, average win rate of 2 BB/100.
Is this good enough to move up in level? Say to 2/4 or 3/6? What is a good target BB/100 win rate for any level? Basically, I'm not sure if my rate is good, avg., or poor for someone playing on a regular basis and using SSHE principles. Thanx in advance for any feedback. |

Re: Move up in level?
Without any other information, you should be able to do fine at 2/4. 3/6 is tougher, especially of late, I think. If you're bankroll > $1200, I'd say definitely go for 2/4.

Re: Move up in level?
yea I mean even if your winrate gets cut in half which proboly wont happen you will still be making more than you were at 1/2, go for it, 2/4 is supposed to be juicier than 1/2 from what i've heard.

Re: Move up in level?
30K hands is not enough to confidently determine your winrate. You could still be a breakeven, losing, or winning player in the long run. But 30K hands should be enough to confidently determine that you are ready for the next level.

Re: Move up in level?
yes, i agree 30K isn't enough. I look forward to getting alot more in at 2/4, hopefully move up from there before too long! :-)
What is a "good" low limit (say up to 5/10) win rate for someone who has logged a couple hundred thousand hands? |

1 is great for high limits. 2 is good for other limits. as long as you're winning

But 30K hands should be enough to confidently determine that you are ready for the next level. [/ QUOTE ] It is highly unlikely that after 30k hands at 2BB/100 you are a losing player...but break even or around there is still possible: you can't even come close to determining your true win rate. |
