Default Decision between cold-call and re-raise

I chose to re-raise instead of cold-call (SSHE!)

clearly a raise or fold situation, depending on your read on MP1. remember in SSH, you should be cold-calling VERY VERY rarely! flop and turn look fine. bet the river.

Thanks!

Yeah, I've done it quite a few times lately.
I check/call instead of bet/raise on the river :/ working on it though.

i think a lot of people don't bet the river for value because they've probably read that you shouldn't bet the river for value if only hands that beat you will call. however, as emphasized in SSH, you MUST bet the river for value because the variety of hands that will call you will generally be much worse than your's.

I don't like the re-raise because you have a drawing hand only. You're dominated by AK, KK, QQ and AA. You're only shot it would seem is to draw out, and I'm not even sure you should be doing that in your position. The limp by the UTG is fishy and the MP1 raise could very well be any of the big pairs, or not.

I think I would fold this unless I was in the CO, button or one of the blinds.
