Default too much, too soon?

I am still a newbie at NL play, and I think I overplayed this hand PF with the limp/all-in.

The table was loose in its raising standards and there was a lot of calling with bottom and mid pairs on flops, but I didn't want to allow Ax to stay in the hand.

I saw one player raise 2X with AJo and then he was re-raised 3X that with another player holding AJo.

My thought was to take the pot right there, but the button called.

PokerStars No-Limit Hold'em, $0.10 BB (9 handed) converter

BB ($8.35)
Hero ($5.15)
UTG+1 ($20.50)
MP1 ($10.90)
MP2 ($11.45)
MP3 ($7.65)
CO ($5.65)
Button ($4.85)
SB ($9.90)

Preflop: Hero is UTG with K[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img], K[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img].
Hero calls $0.10, <font color="#666666">1 fold</font>, <font color="#CC3333">MP1 raises to $0.2</font>, <font color="#666666">3 folds</font>, Button calls $0.20, SB calls $0.15, BB calls $0.10, <font color="#CC3333">Hero raises to $5.15</font>, MP1 folds, Button calls $4.65 (All-In), SB folds, BB folds.

Flop: ($10.65) 4[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img], T[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img], 6[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] <font color="#0000FF">(2 players, 1 all-in)</font>
