Default A random trip queens hand

No uber-special reads, other than the table as a whole was fairly LAGgy.

Pacific Poker .05/.1 Limit Hold'em (9 handed)

Pre-flop: Hero is the SB with Q[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] 8[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img]

UTG posts, UTG+1 folds, MP1 calls, MP2 posts, HJ calls, CO calls, Button folds, Hero completes, BB checks.

Flop: 10[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] 4[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] Q[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] (8 players, 6.4 SBs)

Hero bets, BB folds, UTG calls, MP1 calls, MP2 calls, HJ calls, CO calls.

Turn: Q[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] (6 players, 6.1 BBs)

Hero bets, UTG calls, MP1 folds, MP2 calls, HJ raises, Hero 3-bets, UTG folds, MP1 folds, MP2 folds, HJ caps, Hero calls.

River: 9[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] (2 players, 16.9 BBs)

Hero bets, HJ raises, Hero calls.

Final pot: 20.9 BBs

On the turn, I figured the HJ was on Qx, but not AQ or KQ or QQ (he just called pre-flop, and probably would have been more aggro on the flop if he had top or second kicker). Figured my odds were better than even (since these goons will play a lot of hands) that I wouldn't be out-kicked -- but against a sane player, I would be worried (because I doubt they would be playing anything worse than my hand).

Not sure about the turn 3-bet. I'd definitely just check/call the river. It's probably obvious he has a Q (or even worse, a set turned boat). Your kicker isn't playing by the river, you're splitting at best.

A pair of 4s in HJs possession is a possibility too.

Not sure about the turn 3-bet.

This is tough to say without reads, but when players raise trapping multiple players it's often a pretty big hand. That said, I think 3-betting is okay.

This is something you definitely need to see...

I would play it the same except for the river.

On the river you MUST check/call. why?
1. Capped turn, can't be that far ahead
2. You are out of position
