Default That LAP fiend....

Villan is LAP. 30/5 with a total of .7...

I am wondering what's the best way to play a hand like this. Out of position against a known LAG, heads up.
Note: I wanted to checkraise the turn but didn't.

Party Poker 5/10 Hold'em (10 handed) converter

Preflop: Hero is BB with A[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img], J[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img].
1 fold, UTG+1 raises, 7 folds, Hero calls.

Flop: (4.40 SB) 5[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img], 9[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img], A[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] (2 players)
Hero checks, UTG+1 bets, Hero calls.

Turn: (3.20 BB) 4[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] (2 players)
Hero checks, UTG+1 bets, Hero calls.

River: (5.20 BB) 4[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] (2 players)
Hero bets, UTG+1 calls.

Final Pot: 7.20 BB

Alternate ways to play this hand greatly appreciated.

30/5? Since when is 30/5/.7 a LAG?

Anyway, given a preflop call, which I wouldn't do unless you messed up the stats, I'd play this hand exactly the same way. This is the way-ahead-way-behind line, and you used it perfectly.

As I think through it, you might want to raise pre-flop. If he's truly LAG, I'd raise pre-flop. Check-raise the flop and lead out on the turn. I'd feel very confident I've got the best of it the whole way and keep pushing....

bet flop, bet turn, check-call river

if your flop bet was raised, then
call flop raise, check-call turn and river

LP-P, you mean? Only raises 5% of his hands?

Anyway, check-call, check-call, bet is perfect for this situation. What didn't you like about it?

I think I like my line of play better, since checking the river will allow the opponent to showdown cheaply with a weak ace and a lower pocket pair. He is unlikely to raise my river bet even with AK or AQ, so there isn't much risk involved.

I would pay a bet on the river anyway, and I don't want my opponent to check through a weaker hand.

He's really not that aggressive preflop and I think this is a muck for me from the BB. If I didn't, though, I'd play it the same.

Somehow, my ranges lable 5% PFR as aggro... idk.

The thing I didn't like about it was that I thought I could get more money out of him, since I should have only been afraid of AK and AQ...

Dude, 5% is passive. Dunno where you got aggro from that. A 5% raiser is raising AK, AQ, AJs, and AA-TT here.
