Default Did I misplay 94o?

I'm at 2/4 Pacific, table is very loose passive (Dr. Schoonmaker would rate it 8,1). 6 limpers to me in BB with 94o, I check. Flop K84 rainbow, everyone checks. Turn is a 3, 4 suits now on the board, everyone checks. River is a 9, hero bets.

Should I have gone for a check raise? What should be my rational for whichever action is correct?

I wouldn't go for a check-raise on the river here, might as well bet it out, dont want it to get checked around again

CR is only good if you know where the bet is coming from. What if the bet comes from someone in LP? Do you then raise or go for overcalls? And if the bet doesnt come at all you are screwed.
