I wish people would actually consider a flop check or a turn check

Gotta bet the flop b/c you would do this w/AK or AA or just about any other hand you raised pf. Not worth varying your play and it allows you to keep control of the hand and fold some hands better than yours.

Turn bet is standard given the flop action

River is standard

What is your plan on the turn if checkraised?

Call down I guess...that's why I suggested maybe checking the turn, I'm in a bad spot if I get check-raised.

In hands like this, if a turn checkraise means I'm beaten I bet the turn, if I might be ahead even after being checkraised on the turn I will check (unless it's a huge LAG and I expect to be ahead the majority of the time when checkraised), especially because the type of opponents who are likely to checkraise the turn with a worse hand are also the type who are prone to betting the river into you after you check the turn.

Flop bet is just about automatic. Without a read, turn bet is, too. If I feared getting check-raised, I'd check it and call a bet on the end or bet a non-scare card. This could induce some river bluffs from hands that were peeling for an ace that would fold the turn or check-raise bluff.

In general, I think you miss too much value from lower pairs and give a free shot at the flush.

In a smaller pot, I would probably take the free card on the flop.

BUT, because this pot is big, you have a back door flush, back door straight, and two overcards to the seven on the board that may still be good; the pot is large enough to put in a bet on the flop. You might scare off some better hands, and whittle down the field, giving your hand a better chance of winning this large pot.

I would check the turn unimproved, but as you improved, the turn bet is standard IMO.

The river, without a read, is standard too IMO.
