Would he push with a 9 or TT? Possibly, but I doubt it. Would he with a smaller pair? Most certainly.

I call.

Typically, I think a nine would call here and play it slow. The only reason to raise with it is if you're deathly afraid of the flush / straight draws. I call here expecting to see a ten with a high card. I don't expect to see QQ-AA.

Winning this hand will put you in great position for the rest of the tournament. I call the all in.

i cant imagine anyone playing a hand that is beating you in this way (read: AA-QQ RR PF, TT or 9x play the flop slow). i call.

not to say that poker players dont do things that make no sense everyday. but against most players, you're ahead here.

Heh. If I had QQ-AA here, I would push, so you can call.

What do people think about my first 2 bets? I think they were fine. I called, and he won the hand with TT. I disagree that players would not usually play that way with TT. I called because there were a lot of other hands he could also have and play that way, like Tx, a small pair, or overcards. I was worried that it should be obvious that he had TT or a 9. Remember, this is $22 level. Thanks for the advice, people. I feel good about the hand. I quizzed my girlfriend, and even she would call.

Majority of 22 players won't push with TT or a 9 here, so it's far from obvious.
