What is easy about that? That is a total overhaul of College football, that is not easy.

True, but if it were to happen (and it won't), it would make college football the best spectator sport in the world by far.

Your solution still includes some of the problems of the current system. For example, Utah is in your B division out west. So even under your system, Utah wouldn't have had a shot. Now, you can say that they would have the opportunity to advance to the top league the next year, but that still screws last year's team and promotes a vasty inferior team the next. We already have a viable playoff structure, it's called Divisions 1-AA through III.

Well, Utah would have a chance at a calss B championship, but yes, I see you point, the way division II and III so it is great. It's just that it is the same as every other sport, and I think it would be good to do something different.

A playoff would be much simpler to implement, and I would be quite happy it they did it.
