Default Neteller Debit Card and ATM\'s

For some reason my debit card no longer works with Bank Of America ATM's. I have no clue why...it used too. Just a minor inconvience because nearly every ATM in Boston is Bank Of America. Anyone else have this problem?

are there no deli's, laundromats, drugstores, supermarkets or gas stations in Boston?

check with the Bank of America ATM's and see if they still accept cards with the "Star" logo (check the back of your Neteller card). perhaps they stopped working with that network. or call Neteller or BoA support and ask. and I'm sure they're not even close to the ONLY bank in your city. Citibank I know for sure still works with them.

I just checked a BoA machine down here in NYC. no Star logo listed anymore (presuming they used to since you've withdrawn there in the past). I also checked a few ghetto bodega ATM's and they still have the Star logo, however.

It's just that most of those ATM's will not spit out 500. But yeah usually I can find a Citizens bank or Soverign or something. Next time I go to Bank Of America I will look for the Star logo.

little bump, on topic. I was trying to get a thousand out on my neteller debit yesterday in philadelphia. I'm currently just visiting in philly (lived here some in past), so I don't know the banks and I just head to Market in center city to try my luck. I went through at least 5 banks with the same pattern: $1000--too much, so I try $800 and it says, sorry, transaction rejected, contact your issuer. I think I was rejected at bank of america, citizens, commerce, and at least two more. (eventually I got $800 from some philadelphia bank with for "business" in the name--and they charged no fee!)

are banks starting to cut out neteller debit from their machines now?

There was a thread a few months back showing certain random ATM machines (depending on which bank network they belong to) would actually be free to withdrawl from your Neteller ATM card. Is this true for Star atm's? It seems they are all over the country.
