Again...I dont know where my hand went on the river but I bricked. He was all in on 5th though(as it says) so I guess what I catch on the river really doesnt matter.

I went nuts on 5th just to get that guy all in because he didnt have much left.


In both these hands I think I over valued the hands a little bit...woundering how you guys would have played em. Thanks

I think you played the first hand about right.

On the second hand, your start is pretty marginal, but you're almost halfway in, right? I think you take one off here. Nice catch on fourth. You have to bet that, don't you? I don't have a problem with you putting the other guy all-in on fifth since the money is going in anyway. If he had had more, I would have just called the raise on fifth.

I think basically you played fine. You didn't overvalue these hands, these are both quite good hands imho.

I would strongly consider raising again on 5th in hand 1, but I don't think not raising is terrible either. Just makes it a lot more likely you win if you make two pair, and puts some fear into people.

Yeah...these hands were both similar thats why I put them in the same post. They were also back to back I believe and I was in the bring in on both. I usually dont play hands like this so I wasnt totally sure about my line, but I didnt think I was too far off. It sucks I didnt improve much on either.

Results: got half on the first with aces up and got scooped on the second.
