Default Home stereo question

I am looking for a new home theater system for around $1000 - 1500 (recevier and speakers). Mostly for movies and video games, occasionally cd's. My living room is only about 15' X 18' and I don't listen to anything really looud, clarity is more important.

I found this Nakamichi system on overstock Link

I could also go with a bose, or try and buy components and build my own.

Any recommendations?

Dont go with Bose overpriced for thewir pricepoint and not that good anyway.

Reciever wise I would go for anything Denon ideally the
avr-1905 if available in the states.

Speakerwise small room so I would go with a compact sysytem Mordant Short Genie or the WHarfdale Diamond 9 HCP would be ones I would be trying out.

Definitely. They'll most likely tell you to stay away from anything that can be found in Best Buy, though, so make sure you emphasize your budget.
