Now, my question isn't really about the hand in general, but how I should be playing PLO 8/b. I am a thin winning player (about 3.5bb/100) and I have a lot of experience in Stud 8/b. My PTO stats over 5000 hands are VP$IP 20.9, PFR 3.8, and TOTAGRO 2.48. I feel as though I should be playing more hands, because all the successful PLO 8/b players I see that are big winners in my PTO database are around 30 VPIP.

On this hand, did I not bet enough? Should I not have called the river? I'll start posting more hands to get an idea of where I'm at. I appreciate all the help!

yes, this is the problem. I would pot with your hand on the flop and the turn. If you get called down, just hope the river brings a low because your Ace might not be good, but I'm willing to lose a stack here.

The river call was fine... but by betting small amounts on the flop and turn, you allowed the other guy's implied odds miracle to come true, effectively making his horrible calls somewhat more correct.

I would bet the pot on the flop and the turn.
