Default devilfish should play daniel negrenue head sup

i was just surfing through the channels and saw this really cheesy poker show on fox sports called "poker masters millions" or some bullsh1t like that. it was heads up play between devilfish and some guy with a girly name. the commentators are boosting about devilfish's ultra aggressive style. they do a cut scene to devilfish in which he says "no one in the world will play me heads up for cash, just to tell you that". so why doesn't he challenge and play daniel negrenue heads up? if you're going to be making claims like that then you need to back that azz up like juvenile, na mean?

Maybe because Devilfish wants a real challenge?

From what Daniel has said in his blog thing there seems to be quite a backlog of challenge matches that he has not gotten to yet, especially considering the recent wedding, perhaps Devilfish is on the waiting list.

I assume he would. I believe it is his best game and one of DN's weaker ones.

I spent quite a bit of time talking to Dave at the 2005 WSOP. We were watching a cash game with Hellmuth, Esfandiari, Raymer, and DeAgastino.

First, I believe him when he says he would play anyone heads up. The guy has been playing ring games for 30 years. I doubt he would refuse to play anyone. Also I asked him who at that table were good cash players. He said DeAgastino was not good, Hellmuth was just ok, Esfandiari good, and he said Raymer is an excellent cash player. I was kind of surprised. I would have thought of Raymer as more of a tournament player like Hellmuth. BTW we witnessed a hand where Raymer took a huge pot off of DeAgastino holding AT to make broadway. I dont know what John was holding but he wasnt happy about it.

Dan N. is at minimum 10% superior to Devilfish at ANY game. And yes, pot-limit omaha is the game that will give the Devilfish the least amount of disadvantage. The most amount of disadvantage will come from triple draw.

the amount of pure foolishness that gets posted on the WPT forum never ceases to amaze me.
