Howd I play this hand?
No real reads on anyone, pretty new player to the table, a 6 handed 20$ tourney on pokerstars. The villain in this hand, every time he raised it was 4 or 5x the big blind. Average stack at this point was around 8000

i would have bet the flop, which would have been called. i'd have bet the turn again, as you did, which would have been called. then i'd probably have checked the river, intending to call any reasonable sized bet. you might have been able to save chips there if the villain checked behind or gave you a cheap showdown.
but you do want to show your hand down on this flop, and the villain's betting pattern looks a lot more like a pocket pair below KK than TPTK. |
