Default do i suck at deepstack poker?

Alright, if my stack wasn't this deep relative to the blinds, then this is standard I'm pretty sure. However, I read the ring-game forums a good bit and check out some of the deep stack threads in them. I often see playing premium pairs very cautiosly after the flop. So yeah, basically my question boils down to...

With a 140BB stack, am I over committing myself to this hand? As you can see, it turned out fine, but how would others have played the turn if riverdave (villain in this hand too) had called the flop. And what about if he had raised the flop? I'm not sure I would have known how to proceed in either of those scenarios.

And who the heck is riverdave and why do I think I've heard of him before?
