Default My Interpretation of the Plot in \"Signs\"

This is about this family who lives out in a farm, probably believe in Jehova or something. Anyways their corn starts getting flat so they figure it is some other farmers who pose competition, trying to stomp out their corn.

Well one night they catch one of them and he jumps over their house so they think it might be their dog, but the farmers killed their dog.... Hmm...

Mel Gibson's wife died in a car accident, probably set up by the enemy farmers. They might be dunkards or something. Eventually they see an alien movie on tv and figure it is aliens but the catch is it ISNT dunkard farmers, it is the children of the corn.

Mel and his family cannot acknowledge this, cannot except it, so they do not see the children, instead they see aliens, which are more real to them and easier to accept. That is why it was easy to kill with the bat. Im not sure about the news show, except I think children of the corn all over the planet were rising up.
