The important thing on this hand is not"if he had held this,he would have done that".

The important thing is"putting your action where your read is".This is what it takes to be a top player, imho.

I know that I don't have the balls to make that play,& it's one of the reasons that I'm not sitting up there in that game.

Excellant play,sir.

Its very possible he started with a pair of fives, paired his door card,

I doubt he'd reraise 3rd with a pair of 5s.

He's either rolled, or has a big pair in the hole. As it's more likely that he has aces, kings or queens in the hole, I'm calling down without hesitation, especially as it's difficult for him to put you on trips.

He just called on 3rd.

I dunno Carlos. This is a tough hand, but I think I need to see the river here. I think this guy plays a FH here exactly the same way. For just one more big bet I think you need to call down. Tough hand.

Good point mike. If he filled up, he know's he has the best hand, unless the other guy has unlikey quads.

Edit: I'd like to say that I don't like the fold. But I'd also like to say that this is why you play 100/200, and I play.................

There's times to try and save a BB and times to just check/call down. This was a nice pot. I'd just call down here on 5th.

First off, I'm exhausted right now so I'm not going to go into detail. But, I'm seeing the river on this hand every time...you put the idea you might be worried about quads into this tard's head and now you want to "define" your hand and set yourself up to make a big laydown? Also, though it seems obvious to you that your actions suggest trips, many people who play various forms of high limit poker at Bellagio are quite stupid and you are a young, funny guy with a pleasantly "brash" image that will encourage him to gamble it up here if he has something like buried aces, three fives, kings up, etc.

BTW, you owe me about $2000 and are my new suckout hero. I will accept about 40 dinners at Nobu as payment. Gracias.
