The villian is a LAG, but im doubting a moron, there is probably something flopworthy in his hand each time he raises to 100. You missed my point totally. Hero has seen this situation enough times already at this table, whats the harm in letting this opportunity pass for a better one in the future? The lag isnt going anywhere or going to stop doing that [/ QUOTE ] If I'm a better player (as fimbulwinter is) than a huge-stacked LAG, I'm happy to take a coinflip against him. The next time he doubles me up it's worth twice as much. Anyway, wait-for-a-better-spot-logic is flawed. LAG might very well go somewhere. Someone else could take his money or he could walk away and go to bed or something. |

If the LAG isn't going anywhere, then why are we passing up +EV opportunities against him? Why not take all of them?

Re: I play bad 2/5NL (probably low content)
You want to build a stack as quickly as possible, so that you can clean this LAG out. Someone is going to take his money, it might as well be you. For that reason, you should be willing to take a +EV gamble that has huge implied +EV if you win.

Re: I play bad 2/5NL (probably low content)
As would I, but you seem certain the other two players in the pot will fold, how do you know they aren't waiting to do the same thing, & call you're all in with a PP, or A/K or something.

Because I misread the post and just saw "folded to me on the button"

He's calling, you don't have him dominated, and the other guys might have a real hand, yuck. I'd like it with AJ+/99+.
