So what are your settings then? Have you determined you read enough short threads to justify the amount of time it takes everytime you encounter a long thread to click Flat Mode?
Threaded mode would drive me insane.

I dont spend too much time here (though that is changing recently)... so, most of the threads I read are like 10-15 posts long, and not the beasts that at OOT threads. But... (and especially when you are discussing poker) I find that following the dialogue in individual sub-threads to be more valuable than the time flat mode saves. If the thread is like 30 or more (or so) I just click on flat for that thread.
