Hi all. Here is the entire log of a one-table small stakes tournament I played last night on Party Poker. ($10 + $1) I have edited heavily to make it more readable and have added hand numbers every 5th hand. Any comments are welcome, but only helpful ones will be appreciated. I felt that I played pretty well. I was clearly the tightest player early, and I think I got aggressive at the right time. Also, I got lucky enough to get some good hands at the end. I did win the tournament, so I can't have played too badly.

At this point, I felt that I had a tight image. I don’t feel I’m in trouble yet, but I am starting to look a little harder for opportunities. Everyone folded to small blind (a reasonable but aggressive player), who made what I felt was a steal raise. I re-raised, hoping he would just abandon his bluff, but he called.

He checked, I decided to continue bluff and bet out, he called.

I had been planning to continue the bluff, because I really thought he only had overcards or a small pair, and would lay them down, but I’ve made top pair. I don’t think there are many worse hands that will call, so I check behind. My tens are good and my read was right, he had [ Ac Jd ]

I had put the BB on also a flush draw and EP on top pair. It is a little scary to see that what I had thought were outs -- the kings and aces, were not. All's well that ends well, though.

Wow. It's amazing how fast a post can get pushed on to the third page. I hope you all will forgive my bump, here, but I spent a fair bit of time writing the darn thing, so I am hoping for at least a Dope Slap or two.

I looked it over and didn't see anything glaring except the T 5 hand. Even if you think it's a steal you should probably let that one go.
