Was this proper caution, or weak-tight disease?

Action Poker, $2/4 full table. Several loose passives at the table. Villain isn't as loose or as passive as the rest of them; his coldcall ought to at least at least be a smaller range than a 2+2er's limps [img]/images/graemlins/smile.gif[/img]

UTG limps, 2 folds, Hero raises. 1 fold, LP Calling station calls, 1 fold, button calls, blinds fold, UTG calls.

UTG checks, Hero bets, calling station calls, button raises, UTG folds, hero calls, calling station finally smells the coffee and folds.

In retrospect, not 3-betting seems awfully timid of me especially as it might get a gutshot out.

With one of the obvious draws coming in, wasn't convinced I was ahead significantly more than half the time, so didn't see a reason to pump it up.)

You may still have the best hand and you have a draw at the nut flush now. Bet it.

I'm 3betting the flop here without hesitation. Button could easily be raising for a free card, and even if the flush comes on the turn you have a redraw. IMO, this is no time to get passive.

After raising the flop, I'd bet out on the turn. You have a redraw to the nuts, and there's still a very good chance you have the best hand.

On the river I think checking and calling has merit if you think your opponent is likely to bluff at the river. Against the majority of players, however, I would value bet this hand.

Well, obviously I'm not completely cured yet. I really have no idea why I didn't 3-bet the flop... if I were fully conscious I'd have done that. I still am nervous about betting that turn though. *shrug*

You all would have won more money than me.

Yes. And three betting the flop is an easy decision, IMO.
