The key is your opponents don't know your cards either and whether your betting/raising/calling is done with the best hand, a come hand that might make them fold a marginal hand, or a pure bluff. If you really don't understand the fundamental theorem or the rest of TOP, then you can only play ABC sit-and-wait-for-the-nuts poker and you can't win like that, since how you play maringal/drawing hands will determine whether you can win.
