Re: Goddamn do I love Ray Lewis
[ QUOTE ]
1. 8 figures? didn't think so. 2. tiddlywinks ain't the same as the NFL, loser. 3. He is the best qb in the NFL. If he had above ave. defense, he'd have rings. Break through? What a crock. He threw 49 TD passes last yr. MVP. His last two playoff defeats were caused by playing a better team. Period. When I see your mug on the cover of mags, when I see you being lauded as one of the best at whatever, when I see you with 2 majors, or 2 MVP's, I'll give your opinion a little more weight. [/ QUOTE ] No. Peyton Manning does not win the big game. he never beat Florida. But Tee Martin did. and that's really sad. -AA |

There is more than one person to a team, than just the QB.

Re: Goddamn do I love Ray Lewis
[ QUOTE ]
There is more than one person to a team, than just the QB. [/ QUOTE ] That's true, but again, Manning lost to New England the last two years because HE sucked, not because of his defense. The defense argument is the biggest cop out ever because the Indy D performed admirably in both of the two losses. No D can overcome Manning's 4 picks two years ago, though they tried their best, holding the Pats to mostly field goals and picking off Brady in the end zone once. And last year, if Manning did ANYTHING, the Colts would've won, but sadly 3 points won't beat anyone. Can't blame 3 offensive points on the D, and they admirably still kept the Colts within reach until the 4th quarter. |

He puts up with yahoos that yak about New England and Florida games, two outstanding teams by the way, and handles it with dignity. [/ QUOTE ] He has no choice. |

[/ QUOTE ] Peyton played very well in his game against New England last year; it was Edgerrin James (2.8 ypc) and his receivers (two fumbles) that sucked. The Colts picked up 16 first downs passing and none rushing. He was a whiney little douchebag, though. |

Re: Goddamn do I love Ray Lewis
Haven't read the other posts, but he is overrated and has been for a couple years. No way he should have made the pro bowl last year.

Re: Goddamn do I love Ray Lewis
I believe OJ was found Not Guilty. That is a long way from innocent. But it is enough to walk.
