Default $6: overpair in a fishy pot

1.) How weak was limping off 1/10 of my stack w/ 88 7 handed?

2.) Given I chose to call, how horrendous is calling off another 100 into a 900 pot?

3.) What do you do on the flop?

Reads: I was 75% positive SB didn't have anything. He had been making idiotic "fancy" moves all day with nothing. I'm worried about CO behind me. Hadn't seen him raise a single pot that had gone to showdown. HAD seen him limp w/ all sorts of crap like 7Ts and QTo and play them fairly strongly.

Party Poker No-Limit Hold'em Tourney, Big Blind is t100 (7 handed) converter

BB (t1560)
UTG (t1470)
MP1 (t625)
Hero (t1045)
CO (t1420)
Button (t1230)
SB (t650)

Preflop: Hero is MP2 with 8[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img], 8[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img].
UTG calls t100, 1 fold, Hero calls t100, CO raises to t200, 1 fold, SB calls t150, BB calls t100, UTG calls t100, Hero calls t100.

Flop: (t1000) 6[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img], 6[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img], 4[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] (5 players)
SB bets 450 (all-in), BB folds, UTG folds Hero???

1) Worse than communism.

2) Worse than if Russia decided to give communism one more crack.

3) With your read on SB, push all of it into the pot. If SB's going to screw around...whoop his ass. Plus you have to push out the player left behind you (who has at least one overcard to your pair).

In this situation with a pocket pair as easily compromised as 88, you have to raise to at least 400 pre-flop. You could have saved yourself (maybe) by pushing after CO's mini-raise. But the pre-flop play is "Ben-Affleck-in-Changing Lanes" bad.

You can limp w/88 from the button. But up front you must raise or fold.

1.) With less than 10 BB I would push with 88, with more than 12 BB limp. With your stack I could even imagine a fold, however, a limp should be fine.

2.) Of course, you call.

3.) I'd push over the top. If the CO happens to have a higher pocket pair, so be it and I start another tourney.
