Default Do you like your implied odds?

Most the players at the table are playing a normal game seeing ~30% of flops. The one player who was in almost every pot has just busted out.

SB and UTG+2 are new to the table this orbit.
BB isn't crazy, but is the shortstack at the table and has made a few questionable moves before.

Absolute Poker 1/2 Hold'em (9 handed) converter

Preflop: Hero is UTG+1 with K[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img], T[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img].
1 fold, Hero calls, 5 folds, SB completes, BB checks.

This is probably the weakest hand I'd have called with in this position.

Flop: (3 SB) 8[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img], 6[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img], 4[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] (3 players)
SB checks, BB bets, Hero calls, SB calls.

I was planning to bet this if it was checked to me and maybe get a free river, rather than take the free turn. But BB saves me from making that decision.

Turn: (3 BB) 7[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] (3 players)
SB checks, BB bets, Hero ...

Like the thread title says. The pot was offering 3.75:1 (if I call 25 cents gets raked.)

I'd raise PF. I might also try to get a free card by raising the flop here.

Raising may well have been enough to win the pot. Wish I had thought of it at the time.

The rest of the story:

Hero called, SB raised. BB and Hero nervously called.

Blank river. SB bet, BB called, Hero folded. SB showed [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img]5[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img]3.

If SB is confronted with a double bet on the flop, I wonder what HE will think of his implied odds for his OESD.

He doesn't think of his odds at all. He calls.

I like a raise on this flop. You've got a crapload of outs and a buncha fold equity. If one folds on the flop I'll bet it on the turn, and check/fold the river UI.

Why not take the free card instead? The person in EP will sometimes take a stab at the pot on the river and if we hit we can raise.

Then again I don't know how tight Absolute 1/2 is. If it's tight postflop then I like your line.
